Delete your account
You can delete your Twingdle account and everything in it at any time. We are sorry to see you go.
In the app
- Open Twingdle and sign in.
- Open the menu from the top of the home screen and choose Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
By email
If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my Twingdle account", from the email address on the account. We will confirm by reply and delete the account within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in (email address and password)
- All storybooks, story text, illustrations, covers and narration audio
- All characters, including any photos you uploaded
- Your credit balance and credit history
What is kept
- Records of purchases made through Apple or Google, without any link to your content, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- A one-way hash of your email address, so the free welcome credits can't be claimed twice by the same address. The hash can't be turned back into your email.
- Any feedback you sent from the app, with your email address and the link to your account removed.
- Server logs, for up to 90 days.
Before you delete. Deletion is permanent. Unused credits are lost and cannot be restored. If you have an active monthly plan, cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings first, since deleting the account does not stop the store from billing you.
