Say as little or as much as you like
A title is enough to begin. The short "what is it about?" line shows on the storybook. The feel and story elements box is private: describe the mood, the setting, the twist to hold back and how it should end, and the story follows it.

Your family, in the story
Build a cast of kids, grown-ups, pets and favourite toys. Snap a photo and Twingdle paints them as a storybook character, or just describe them.
Pick Standard for clear, kind stories with bright pictures, or Enhanced for the richest writing and finer, more detailed pictures.
Then decide who writes it: tell Twingdle what happens one episode at a time, or tap "Make it for me" and it plans and writes the whole storybook from the title.
Bedtime stories, in your voice
Read a short passage aloud for about a minute and a half. From then on, every scene of a storybook set to "My voice" is read in your voice, even on the nights you are away. It costs the same as any other narrator.

What a credit buys: a scene with picture and narration is 3 credits (6 for Enhanced), a character is 2, a cover is 1. Reading it yourself with narration off saves 2 credits a scene; your own voice costs the same as any narrator. Prices shown in USD; your store shows local pricing. Any generation that fails is refunded automatically.
Questions parents ask
Who is Twingdle for?
Parents and carers of children roughly aged 2 to 8. A grown-up creates the account and the stories; the child enjoys the result. The app is not designed for children to use on their own.
What happens to the photos I upload?
A photo is used once, to paint the character portrait, then kept only so you can regenerate that character. It is never used to train anything and never shown to other users. You can delete a character, or your whole account, at any time. See the privacy policy for the details.
What happens to my voice recording?
You only record your voice if you choose "Read it in my voice", and you confirm it is your own voice first. The recording is sent to our voice provider each time a story is read in your voice, and the copy made there is deleted straight after. You can record again or switch to another narrator at any time.
How long does a story take?
Each scene is written, illustrated and narrated in around a minute. You can start reading the first scene while the next one is still being made.
Can I get a refund if a picture or reading goes wrong?
If a generation fails, the credits are refunded automatically. If it succeeds but you want a different result, redoing a single picture or reading costs a credit or two rather than the whole scene.
How do I cancel a plan?
Plans are billed by Apple or Google and cancelled from your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Your credits stay usable until the end of the paid period.
